September 28 is confirmed as being the next date when Ryanair staff strike over labout disputes with the company.
Staff will walk out in Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain, in the hope that the threat will prompt shareholders to meet on September 20 to address the complaints.
Theunions have said that they will hold a monthly strike until their demands are met.
“It is time the company accepted to employ us with local contracts under local conditions in accordance with local law,” said Didier Lebbe, spokesperson for the CNE union in Belgium.
The company, however, have said that disruption will be kept to a minimum.
