This weekend, the General Air Academy in San Javier will open its doors to visitors on Saturday the 9th of June, and host an amazing air show on Sunday the 10th.

The event is to coincide with the 75th anniversary of the academy, and will feature a static display of aircraft on the Saturday, from 10:00 until 17:00, and the air show on Sunday, which will be visible from around the entire area, but especially from the beaches of Lo Pagán and Santiago de la Ribera.

The town council of Pilar de la Horadada has arranged for land to be set aside for car parking, and are providing a free shuttle bus between the car park and the event. If you would like to use the park-and-ride facility, you must register with the local police before Friday. More details can be obtained from the town hall.
