Torrevieja´s councillor Agustina Esteve, accompanied by the Chief of Police, Vicente Gutiérrez, and other dignitaries, visited the Los Altos urbanisation this week, in order to assess road improvement plans which have been carried out.

One of the principal changes has been converting the streets La Munia and la Penedés into two-way roads, thus making it easier for the residents of the urbanisation to access the N-332 main road, which had been a problem since the closure of a number of access routes when the N-332 was widened.

Traffic calming measures and crossings have also been put in place, in order to improve safety for pedestrians.
