On Sunday of this week, Orihuela´s Teatro Circo will host its first circus since it reopened as a cultural venue in 1996, with the acrobatic and entertaining spectacular, “Viaje a la luna”, or Trip to the Moon, based on the novel by Jules Verne.
The show will see 14 dancers, 10 acrobats, 5 rope performers, 3 musicians, a puppeteer, a stuffed dog, a hen and two fleas all performing in this family orientated show.
With a wide range of events also taking place throughout the year, not only in the historic Teatro Circo, but in many of the other cultural venues around the municipality, there is always something available for all the family.
The best bits are featured in the What´s On Guide every Monday in The Leader, but you can always pop into the tourist information office in the town hall, as well as the new office in the Zenia Boulevard shopping centre, where the highly trained teams will happily offer any advice and help they can, as well as information leaflets in English and other languages.
Buckle up for your “Viaje a la luna” on Sunday, starting at 17:30.Filed under: http://www.theleader.info/article/42582/
