The Update Named MUSICALS

Evenink all, how you doing? Just though I´d pop along and wish you all the very best for another new week. It´s almost February, can you believe that???

Things have settled down a bit on the La Zenia roundabout situation, but don´t be lulled into a false sense of security, it´s not over yet! The fight continues. More details here… http://www.theleader.info/article/42293/spain/costa-blanca/community-comes-together-in-road-access-battle/

33588_320x0A couple more things to tell you… On Sunday, there´s a show in Torrevieja which is well worth seeing. Not because it´s a huge Broadway cast or a superstar singer, but because it is a big bunch of kids doing their best to put on a full featured dance and song show, and for charity. It is the Kingsbury Academy of Dance who are performing and every single one of them has done their best to rehearse and give you a great night out, so don´t let them down by missing out. Sunday at 5pm. I will also be chatting to Ruth Kingsbury about the show on Friday morning, just after 10 on Exite Radió.

FITUR, the tourism exhibition starts this week, so that´s something we will no doubt talk about, but next weekend, 1st and 2nd of February, the HUGE Medieval Market returns to Orihuela, and that is without doubt one not to miss. The town hall are putting on a bus from the coast too, and it´s only about a fiver, so a bargain. More details about that in the week, when I talk to Martina Scheurer, the Councillor for the Coast, on Thursday.

Just to finish off, as I know how busy you are, here is my pick of the other events around these parts for the next few days. I will send you more at the weekend, but for now, enjoy these.

Oh, and look out for Wednesday, there may be another sprinkle of rain or two! Remember to watch Benidorm on Thursday on ITV.

Until the next time,
M.x
