Officers from the Guardia Civil have arrested a British fugitive in Casares, Málaga, wanted by the courts in Belgium for allegedly supplying cocaine from Ecuador to an organised motorcycle group.
Trevor Moore, aged 45, had fled justice in Belgium and was living temporarily on the Costa del Sol. A European arrest warrant was in place detailing the fact that he was wanted in connection with crimes of belonging to an armed gang, drug trafficking and money laundering.
With information collated from various monitoring services and surveillance operations, both in residential and leisure areas, the man was located living in a country house located in an area of the municipality of Casares, in a practically uninhabited and inaccessible area.
Due to the complexity of the terrain where the fugitive resided, investigators monitored the property from a distance, and on the 9th of January they identified a suspect male leaving the house in a vehicle and travelling to the town of Manilva, where he was stopped and arrested.
The operation was carried out by agents from the Central Operational Unit of the Guardia Civil.
