Day 1 of the Benidorm calendar comp

If you want the serious political stuff, jump down to below the picture. For the fun bit, read on…

I was looking at my Jake Canuso calendar today and admiring how well hung it was. I didn´t bend the nail or anything and it just sits there in a perfect position on my wall. I thought to myself that I ought to try my skill at putting other pictures up, considering how well I had done with this one…

Now, you too can have your own, SIGNED, calendar by entering the competition I am running every day this week. Quite how or where you choose to hang it is your choice, there are no extra points for your skill.

Today I asked… “On Thursday we met a new family in Benidorm. Mum, dad and Tiger the son. I want to know the first name of mum. Spelling is important, as you might remember from the first episode last Thursday, but if you know the answer, send me a PRIVATE MESSAGE (so as not to spoilt the quiz for anybody else) and I will pull one lucky winner from my big hat at about 9:30 tomorrow morning. I will also then ask you a new question, as I have a signed calendar to give away every day this week.

You can contact me direct via Facebook, just look for Mark.A.Nolan or click here, or via the Twitter, here, my Twitter name being Mark_A_Nolan. You can browse all my social feeds and contact me using the one of your choice via RebelMouse.

Mancebo

If you missed me talking with Pedro Mancebo about the latest failed Orihuela government overthrow, it is on the website.
On Wednesday I will be talking with Bob Houliston, the man who blocked the move, and on Thursday with Martina Scheurer, the councillor for the coast.
Join me on 89.2fm on the Orihuela Costa, or 93.1fm everywhere else, and you can listen live on the website too. Here is today´s chat…
