ELEVENTH YEAR FOR CAROLS IN THE SQUARE

In a tradition that is standing the test of time, now reaching its eleventh year, the main square in Torrevieja became awash with red and White, as international residents came together to welcome the Christmas season with a traditional open air carol concert.

It was in the Plaza de la Consitución in front of the main Inmaculada Church where thousands gathered to be greeted by Bill Singleton, as traditionally the Master of Ceremonies as the event itself.

Although it is much the same as each year previous, as one would expect from a tradition, the delight on the faces of those attending was clear to see, as the visitors also enjoyed snacks and drinks from the outside bars, and wandered around the nativity scene, before many attended the mass that followed the concert.

There is no question that the dedication of those involved has started the season in true festive style, with one and all coming together in the true nature of the spirit of Christmas.
