A group of women from Montserrat in Valencia, who last year raised money to subsidise their children´s school bus by posing naked in a calendar, have yet another reason to celebrate this week.
Spokesperson for the group of mothers, Silvia Lucas, confirmed this week that they have now won 25,000 euro by taking part in a television game show.
Silvia continued to say that they haven´t stopped campaigning and fundraising yet, but they are planning further industrial action to demand that the Department of Education bring solution to the lack of public transportation for their children, but the women have ruled out a return to nudity.
The problems arose when new rules withdrew free transport for children living within a 3 kilometre radius of the school, but as many of these students live on various developments, the topography means that many of them live 6 kilometres away, due to the roads traversing the topography, but their homes still fall within the 3 kilometre boundary.
With 25,000 euro from the game show, and hopes to raise funds through the Christmas lottery, this group of mothers hopes to pay for transport throughout the entire academic course.
