Dear Mariano,

Please allow me to advise you of a great website called GOOGLE (it´s actually a lot more than a website, but don´t worry about that at this stage).

One of the things (or on line services if you want to be clever) that Google provide is a translation service for websites.

I have to say, it´s not perfect, it doesn´t get everything right, but then again, neither do you, so let´s not worry about that either.

Anyway, the point is, you may well have been able to save the 110,745 euro that you have allocated to translate the website and spent it on something more useful… Oh, I just had an awesome idea, like maybe spend it on 4 teachers who could teach hundreds of people each year to translate it for you, they could even do it as a project or something.

Anyway, I know you are busy, so I will let you get on with doing such an awesome/awful job at running/ruining your country. But if you get a chance, please go and have a look, you just might be impressed.

Sincerely/sarcastically,

Mark.

Note: Mariano Rajoy’s government of Spain has allocated 110,745 euro from next year´s budget to translate the contents of the website of the Moncloa, according to the tender published in the Official State Gazette (BOE).
